Tina Thomsen is employed as a project developer at Design City Kolding. She brings to the new district of Kolding many years of experience from the creative sector and has a strong network. Tina was originally trained as an industrial designer from the Aarhus School of Architecture in 1993.

The next building in Design City Kolding will be The Cliff. A special feature of the building is the green roof.

Flexibility, sustainability and exciting architecture make up the focal point of The Cliff, which will be the next building in Design City Kolding

A special feature of the building is the green roof, combined with roof terraces and fields of solar cells. From the roof terraces there is access to the outside from all floors. The facade will have different heights and windows of varying shapes giving a vivid expression.

Business contacts, friends and citizens of Kolding attended the official opening of Design City Kolding on the 9th of June. Mayor Jørn Pedersen cut the red ribbon, and with that the new building at Kolding Åpark 2 was officially open.

We have asked the students at The Cosmo - International School of Southern Denmark - what they expect of the house of the future. This was done in connection with the inauguration of the first building in Design City Kolding.

An innovative, flexible and sustainable office building will be the next to be built in Design City Kolding, after the fully-booked building in Design City’s north-west corner.

The new building will be named The Cliff. It will include a landscape on the roof with solar panels and terraces with access from all floors.

 Design City Kolding's first building is already rented out.

The building has a floor space of 4,600m² and is constructed as an energy class 1 building in accordance with the 2015 energy framework. In the characteristic windows, there are three layers of glass and there are solar panels on the roof. Both of these contribute to reducing the buildings energy bill.
